Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE LTD is seeking a senior supply chain leader to shape global supply assurance strategy across Assembly and Test manufacturing sites. You will drive metrics like DSL, SSA, WOS, OTD, and DIO, and lead cross-functional teams to improve procurement and productivity using AI-driven initiatives.

In this role, you will coach Supply Managers and Procurement Operations Managers, collaborate with site stakeholders and suppliers, and ensure end-to-end supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/Planning/Engineering.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in supply management roles.
• APICS, PMI, CPM, CPSM certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in semiconductor and manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global strategic supply assurance plan for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites.
• Drive site operational execution and inventory metrics such as DSL, SSA, WOS, OTD, and Buy Rule Governance.
• Lead and coach supply managers and procurement operations managers.
• Collaborate with site stakeholders, procurement partners and suppliers on supply assurance strategies.
• Deliver strategic procurement solutions and end-to-end supply assurance.

Role Responsibilities & Tasks:

Develop and Implement Strategic Business Improvement Plan

• Support Leaders to work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites
• Accountable for Supply Assurance metrics. Advocate for and attain targets related to Supply Assurance metrics, encompassing DSL (Demand Service Level), SSA (Safety Stock Attainment), WOS (Weeks of Supply), OTD (On time Delivery), and Buy Rule Governance.
• Accountable for site Operational execution and inventory metrics, including DIO (Days of Inventory Owned), Excess & Obsolescence/Scrap Rate, and Slow Moving.
• Assist in formulating a global supply plan, implement improvement strategies, and address supply and supplier capacity challenges and customer issues.
• Build consensus on strategic plan and refine (as required)
• Provide insights and drive on procurement initiatives (AI first) and productivity improvement.

Lead and Coach Supply Managers & Procurement Operation Managers

• Drive Operational Excellence through servant leadership to guide and coach the Supply Managers on day-to-day operations.
• Establish performance and development goals for Supply Managers and Procurement Operations Managers.
• Engage the team for strategicobjective improvement.
• Cultivate learning behaviors to drive AI and productivity improvement.

Collaborate with Site Stakeholders, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Supply Assurance Strategies

• Ensure partner requirements are met with cost of ownership justification.
• Communicate strategic goals, supply fulfillment plans, initiatives and targets to partners, suppliers, and global procurement teams.
• Maintain relationships with senior executives at sites.
• Initiate and sustain effective communication with internal and external partners.

Collaborate with Partners to Deliver Strategic Solutions

• Develop and maintain expertise in Supply Assurance through relationships with partners, suppliers, and industry trends.
• Assist to implement or augment processes.
• Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement.
• Maintain close interaction with procurement category teams to ensure end-to-end supply assurance approach.
• Resolve conflicts and cultivate effective relationships with internal and external collaborators.

Requirements:
