Qualifications

Job description
Role Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Support Leaders to work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites
  • Accountable for site Supply Assurance metrics. Advocate for and attain targets related to Supply Assurance metrics, encompassing DSL (Demand Service Level), SSA (Safety Stock Attainment), WOS (Weeks of Supply), OTD (On time Delivery), Fill Rate, Excess & Obsolescence/Scrap Rate and Buy Rule.
  • Accountable for site Operational execution and inventory metrics, including DIO (Days of Inventory Owned), Scrap, Slow Moving, Site rebalancing etc
  • Assist in formulating a global supply plan, implement improvement strategies, and address supply challenges and customer issues.
  • Build consensus on strategic plan and refine (as required)
  • Provide insights and drive on procurement initiatives and productivity improvement
Lead and Coach Supply Managers & Site Operation Managers
  • Operational Excellence: Deploy leadership to guide and coach the ATSM Supply Managers on day-to-day operations
  • Establish performance and development goals for the ATSM Supply Managers and Site Operations Managers
  • Engage the team for strategic objective improvement
  • Cultivate learning behaviors to drive productivity improvement
Collaborate with Site Stakeholders, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Supply Assurance Strategies
  • Ensure partner requirements are met with cost of ownership justification
  • Communicate strategic goals, supply fulfillment plans, initiatives and targets to partners, suppliers, and global procurement teams
  • Maintain relationships with senior executives at sites
  • Initiate and sustain effective communication with internal and external partners
Collaborate with Partners to Deliver Strategic Solutions
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Supply Assurance through relationships with partners, suppliers, and industry trends
  • Assist to implement or augment processes
  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement
  • Maintain close interaction with procurement category teams to ensure end-to-end supply assurance approach
  • Resolve conflicts and cultivate effective relationships with internal and external collaborators

Education

Required:

Bachelors/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in:

  • Supply Chain Management/Planning
  • Related field of study

APICS, PMI, CPM, CPSM, or other related fields of study

Qualification

More than 10 years’ experience and demonstrated leadership in any of the following :

  • Purchasing/Procurement
  • Supply Chain CPM or CPSM Certification, or other Procurement certification preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ERP applications

Responsible for overseeing activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, components, and equipment. Directs the activities of buyers and expediters to accomplish company objectives. Reviews and approves purchases up to a specified dollar amount. May negotiate major contracts involving large dollar amounts. Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities. Monitors the cost, schedule and performance aspects of major subcontracts. Coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
