As a Senior Manager, Art Management, you supervise a team's creative results, emphasizing team potential, operational processes, and overall productivity. Your scope of responsibilities covers an entire initiative. These responsibilities include overall culture, performance, and growth of your direct reports.
10+ years in the games industry, with at least 4+ years in art management / art leadership roles.
Experienced with the game art production pipeline and interdependencies between disciplines.
Proven experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary art teams.
Strong background collaborating with external vendors and co-development partners.
Skilled in performance management with the ability to coach, develop, and, when needed, address underperformance effectively and empathetically to sustain a high bar for excellence.
Fluent in English (spoken and written), able to communicate abstract or complex ideas clearly.
High self-awareness, empathy, and strong stakeholder management skills.
Growth-minded and outcome-driven, able to navigate ambiguity with optimism and guide others to learn and improve through change.
Comfortable leading through others - balancing people development, team performance, and creative alignment to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Experienced with the entire game art production pipeline, knowing the dependencies and how every discipline coordinates with each other.
Experience collaborating with producers or development managers on planning and schedules.
Broad experience shipping stylized AAA game content.
Multilingual skills (Mandarin or other regional languages) to support external partner collaboration.
Proven ability to design or refine team frameworks that improve culture, growth, and long-term.
World-class mentorship and coaching skills.
Passion for competitive PVP games
Having experience in collaborating with development managers or producers on content planning and schedule maintenance.
Experience working on video games. Bonus points for outsourcing experience
Broad experience, working production end to end.
Variety engine experience such as Unreal.
