Job description

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and update Maintenance and Calibration plan for production and utilities system. Develop and update required Job Plan.
• Execute maintenance & repair work orders, follows maintenance procedures & instructions.
• Apply LOTO and perform maintenance jobs equipment according to Job plans and SOPs / Work Instructions.
• Coordinating and ensuring the quality of work carried out by external contractors
• Troubleshoot and act as the first line of defense for any issues that may come up in the operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Possess basic maintaining and servicing Process equipment such as heat-exchangers, vessel, valves, pumps and similar equipment.
• Possess basic maintaining of utilities equipment (especially air-compressors, steam boilers, chillers, etc.) and coordination with external vendors
• Plan maintenance schedule and design suitable maintenance plans for equipment
• Possess Calibration and Electrical and Instrumentation skillset will be advantageous
• Promptly address and correct issues related to equipment.
• Ensure that all work orders are completed and provides updates timely.
• Implement CAPA, plant and equipment improvements to improve reliability and availability of equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory accuracy, issue spare parts usage report, co ordinate in sourcing and order spare parts.
• Perform risk assessment of maintenance activities in conjunction with other stakeholders like engineers, operators, EHS personnel.
• Maintain a high level of EHS and cGMP compliance during maintenance activities.
• Coordinates with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
• Provide feedback on maintenance issues and trends associated with failures and root causes.
• Able to prioritize workload and urgency of work
• Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.

Your Profile

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Mechatronics with 3 years of hands-on experience in process equipment, utilities equipment and building facilities; Diploma holders will require at least 1 year of similar experience.
• Experience in Preventive/Predictive/Condition based Maintenance.
• Experience in Spare parts management.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices
• Knowledge or experience in food safety requirements
• Prior work experience in implementation and maintenance of ISO22000, FSSC22000, BRC or relevant certification is advantageous
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Computer-literate with knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Possess good self-discipline
• A good team player with strong initiative and an analytical mind
