Job description

Role and Responsibility

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents for M&E contracts.
• Analyze and review subcontractor/supplier quotations and tenders.
• Source quotations for equipment & materials needed for projects and ensure procured materials are fit for use.
• Arrange with suppliers & contractors for delivery of products & services needed for projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Perform contract administration and claims management.
• Capture variation orders for respective & different projects.
• Negotiate and manage contractual terms and variations with clients, subcontractors & service providers.
• Prepare quotations and tender submissions.
• Prepare material submissions for approval.
• Prepare Operation & Maintenance Manual.

Requirement

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in construction industry in Singapore, particularly M&E services.
• Experience & knowledge of M&E services and systems.
• Ability to read & interpret project specifications, drawings & contract scope of works.
• Knowledge & understanding of Building Code of Practice, BCA Greenmark requirement in Singapore.
• Knowledge of relevant service providers in Singapore market.
• Ability to read & understand architectural, structural & BIM drawings.
• Basic AutoCAD sketching skills.
• Basic hydraulic calculations (air/water).
• Good communication & negotiation skills.
