Job summary

A leading company in mechanical and electrical projects in Singapore is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee projects from planning to execution. This role requires strong project management skills, expertise in engineering principles, and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and a relevant degree. You will ensure safety compliance and quality control while managing resources and documentation. Flexibility to work outside of regular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in M&E projects or equivalent.
• Knowledge of applicable engineering theory, methods, and practices.
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards, installation codes, and best practices.
• Capable of using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to oversee the work of technical and skilled-trade subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects, collaborating on scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications.
• Involved in procurement of equipment, materials, and components.
• Ensure safety regulations and industry best practices are followed.
• Coordinate resources for smooth project execution.
• Monitor work quality and conduct inspections.
• Identify and solve unexpected challenges.
• Serve as contact point between stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project progress.
