Job summary

EWA CONTRACT SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead engineering activities on construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with design specs, approved drawings, and project timelines while coordinating installation and commissioning of M&E systems.

You will supervise subcontractors, monitor progress, and liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in construction with M&E project management.
• Solid technical knowledge of M&E services.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within simultaneous timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E engineering activities in construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines.
• Manage planning, scheduling, coordination, and integration of M&E systems installation and commissioning.
• Supervise M&E subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality work, safety standards, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Monitor the progress of M&E works and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with other building components.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors on M&E related matters, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
• Ensure adherence to Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations throughout the M&E installation and commissioning process.
• Prepare and submit M&E documentation, reports, and progress updates as required by the project schedule.
