Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services on site. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical, mechanical, or electronics engineering, at least 7 years of engineering experience, and 5 years of supervision experience in E&M work. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience with LTA projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of supervision experience of E&M work.
• Experience with LTA project is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services on site.
• Oversee all related M&E issues.
• Assist Manager in project management activities.
• Attend various project meetings.
• Assist in shop drawings and submissions.
• Ensure adherence to Safe work procedures.
• Prepare project progress and other reports.
• Handle QA/QC matters and documentation.
• Order materials required for projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services with consultant and sub-contractors on site.
• Oversee all related M&E issues on site.
• Assists Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities.
• Attends external project meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting.
• Assists Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department.
• Ensures the adherence to the Safe work procedure (SWP).
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports.
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation.
• Orders materials required for projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree in electrical/mechanical/electronics engineering or relevant qualification
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience with recognized Degree in relevant field, and at least 5 years of supervision experience of E&M work in construction site for projects of similar and complexity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with LTA project is preferable.
