Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to manage receiving, warehousing and shipping in Singapore. You will work on inventory accuracy, SAP transactions and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient logistics operations.

This on‑site role reports to the Senior Logistics Team Leader and emphasizes continuous improvement, documentation discipline and adherence to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Secondary School, NITEC or Higher NITEC qualification or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years of shipping, receiving or warehousing experience.
• Working proficiency in SAP for inventory transactions and Excel for reporting.
• Experience with Kanban or lean material-replenishment processes is a plus.
• Good Documentation Practice in a regulated manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute warehouse and shipping operations, including receiving, picking, put‑away, storage, issuing, dispatching and delivery of materials and finished goods in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory and documentation accuracy by recording transactions in SAP, identifying receipt or delivery discrepancies, supporting reconciliation investigations and maintaining records in accordance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Support safe and efficient logistics operations by collaborating with Logistics, Supply Chain and Production teams, participating in continuous‑improvement activities, and complying with Quality Management System and Environment, Health and Safety requirements.

The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for receiving, material handling, warehousing and shipping activities, ensuring materials and finished goods are processed accurately, efficiently and on time.

This position reports to the Senior Logistics Team Leader and is part of the Logistics team located in Singapore.

This will be an on‑site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Execute warehouse and shipping operations, including receiving, picking, put‑away, storage, issuing, dispatching and delivery of materials and finished goods in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory and documentation accuracy by recording transactions in SAP, identifying receipt or delivery discrepancies, supporting reconciliation investigations and maintaining records in accordance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Support safe and efficient logistics operations by collaborating with Logistics, Supply Chain and Production teams, participating in continuous‑improvement activities, and complying with Quality Management System and Environment, Health and Safety requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Secondary School, NITEC or Higher NITEC qualification in any discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in shipping, receiving or warehousing operations.
• Working proficiency in SAP for inventory transactions and Microsoft Excel for operational records and reporting.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Kanban or other lean material‑replenishment processes.
• Good Documentation Practice within a regulated manufacturing or warehouse environment.
