Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior legal leader to head APAC infrastructure and investment transactions for a rapidly expanding digital infrastructure platform. The role involves guiding cross-border deals, governance, and complex project financings across the region.

Reporting to the Head of Legal & Governance, you will partner with finance, investment and project teams to craft commercially driven legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in both private practice and in-house environments.
• Strong background in M&A, commercial transactions, project development and infrastructure work.
• Proven experience advising on debt and equity financing transactions.
• Solid corporate governance and company secretarial expertise across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and cross-border investment transactions.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial, construction, infrastructure and customer agreements.
• Support project finance, development finance and capital raising initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee corporate governance, entity management, company secretarial matters and board-related processes.
• Manage disputes, regulatory matters and legal risk across large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Partner with finance, investment and project teams to deliver commercially driven legal solutions.
• Develop legal operations, standard documentation, governance frameworks and process improvements.

Job Description

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified lawyer with over 10 years' post-qualification experience
• Experience gained across both private practice and in-house legal environments
• Strong background in M&A, commercial transactions, project development and infrastructure-related work
• Proven experience advising on debt and equity financing transactions
• Solid corporate governance and company secretarial expertise across multiple entities
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across regional or cross-border environments
• Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a lean, high-performing team
• Exposure to infrastructure, real estate, energy, construction, digital infrastructure or related sectors will be highly regarded
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and growth-oriented environment
