Job summary

A leading insurance firm in Singapore seeks a Legal and Compliance Officer to provide legal services and support compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in legal roles within the insurance sector and a Bachelor of Law qualification. Knowledge of MAS regulations and compliance concepts is necessary. The position involves collaboration with various departments to ensure adherence to legal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in legal, compliance or regulatory functions, ideally in the insurance industry in Singapore.
• Relevant experience in general insurance claims handling, compliance, and corporate legal work.
• Familiarity with MAS regulations, AML/CFT requirements and PDPA.

Responsibilities

• Support the HOD, Legal and Compliance.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice.
• Assist in the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements for General Insurers.
