Job summary

Ngee Ann Polytechnic invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position in the School of InfoComm Technology. The role focuses on delivering cybersecurity and digital forensics education to Diploma CSF students and adult learners, enriched by industry partnerships and applied projects.

You will develop authentic curricula, mentor learners, and contribute to educational innovation while helping graduates thrive in an AI-enabled world. The contract is for two years.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in cybersecurity or digital forensics.
• Strong expertise in Cybersecurity Operations, Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, Web/Application Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, AI Security or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Assembly or other relevant programming/scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver teaching and assessment materials for PET and CET students with authentic industry-relevant learning experiences.
• Develop and enhance curriculum by incorporating industry practices and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and support students in learning, professional development, Education and Career Guidance, and employability.
• Build partnerships with industry for curriculum development, projects, internships, and guest lectures.
• Explore and integrate Generative AI into teaching and learning, promoting responsible use.
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends and translate into curriculum and learning activities.
• Participate in applied research, consultancy, industry projects and school initiatives.
• Undertake administrative duties related to teaching and assigned responsibilities.
