Job summary

Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the School of InfoComm Technology for a 2-year contract. You will teach Tech or LegalTech modules in the Computing with Law diploma programme, shaping graduates at the intersection of Computing and Law for emerging LegalTech, RegTech, and ComplianceTech industries.

You will teach PET/CET classes, design engaging materials, develop curriculum, and collaborate with enterprises on curriculum development,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in related domain in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, and/or Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong background in software development and architecture.
• Proficiency in AI domains (knowledge-based systems, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP, generative AI).
• Genuine passion for education, with strong interest in teaching and mentoring youths and adult learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach PET/CET classes in Software Development, AI, and LegalTech/RegTech/ComplianceTech.
• Design, create quality teaching materials and conduct lessons for PET and CET students.
• Develop and update curriculum to enhance learning and employability.
• Support student development in Education and Career Guidance.
• Collaborate with enterprises for curriculum development, internships, CET projects.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects related to academic enhancement, outreach and CET.
• Stay updated on trends in technologies and regulatory fields.
• Handle administrative work related to teaching and school initiatives.
