Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Leasing Manager in retail planning which includes trade/tenant mix review and planning.
• Propose, source and secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix of the mall. This will include active cold callings, site viewings and negotiation on new leases and renewals.
• Preparation and tracking of lease documentation and marketing kits.
• Responsible for operating the various systems and tools in tenant sales and lease performance monitoring, rental analysis and forecasting, management reporting.
• Assist in market research and analysis of trends, data and preparation of reports to monitor/ determine/ validate performance of the mall and/or competitors.
• Establish and maintain good landlord‑tenant relationships.
• Engage and maintain good relationships with prospective tenants and real estate consultants and associations.
• Monitor rental payments to ensure timely settlement by tenants and to initiate necessary action to recover any arrears.
• Responsible for handing and following up with tenants and vendor on the monthly GTO sales via our portal and POS system.
• Assist in fine‑tuning the related lease management systems e.g. Lease Management Analytics System and Point of Sales System.
• Support feasibility studies and formulation of new innovative retail formats and curated concepts.
• Responsible for the upkeep of files and maintenance of tenancy/sales documents in an orderly manner.
• To carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a shopping mall.
• Proven track record in retail leasing with a good network of tenants and contacts.
• Good written and spoken communication skills, with strong negotiation and numeracy skills.
• Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Meticulous, ability to multi‑task and work within tight timelines.
• Possess positive disposition, independent, resourceful and a team player.
