Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting of laboratory tests and samples and quality inspections assigned to them by the Supervisor.
• Expected to be knowledgeable on all equipment operating procedures as well as all quality control procedures and competent on the use of laboratory equipment.
• Raw material process and finished product quality control analysis
• Advance maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment
• Maintenance of chemicals and consumables inventory, preparation and standardization of chemical reagents and waste management.
• Maintenance of quality records and development of quality procedures
• Calibration of equipment
• Conduct and contribute to risk assessment, Quality Procedures and Decision making on quality & maintenance
• Procurement of materials and budget controls
• Implementing QA & Safety Activities
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Atleast 8 years’ experience in conducting Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing is advantageous.
• Experienced in Petrochemical, Oil&Gas and Chemical industries is advantageous.
• Good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR, GC, ICP, GC-MS, Antek, KF, IR, UV, Extruder, DSC etc.
• SAP & LIMS experience is advantage.
• Experience pin polymer testing and analytical techniques.
• Ability to work independently under pressure in a very fast pace Chemical Manufacturing QC environment and meet tight deadlines.
