Job summary

A leading HR consulting firm in Singapore seeks a Senior Laboratory Assistant to perform laboratory tests, quality inspections, and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in a related field, 8 years of experience in manual lab testing, and hands-on calibration skills. The role offers a salary of $2800 - $3500, plus site allowances and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in conducting Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment calibration and reagent preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct raw material process and finished product quality control analysis.
  • Advance maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain chemicals and consumables inventory, prepare and standardize chemical reagents.
  • Maintain quality records and develop quality procedures.
  • Train junior laboratory or chemical technicians.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement quality procedures.
  • Procure materials and control budgets.
  • Implement QA & Safety Activities.

Job description
  • Working Hours: 5days (Mon-Fri), 8 am to 4.30 pm.
  • Work location: Jurong Island (Transport provided at Jurong East
  • Salary : $2800 -$3500 + $200 Site allowance + AWS + VB + 15 Days AL

The Senior Laboratory Assistant is responsible for conducting of laboratory tests and samples and quality inspections assigned to them by the Supervisor.
They are expected to be knowledgeable on all equipment operating procedures as well as all quality control procedures and competent on the use of laboratory equipment.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Raw material process and finished product quality control analysis
  • Advance maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment
  • Maintenance of chemicals and consumables inventory, preparation and standardization of chemical reagents and waste management.
  • Maintenance of quality records and development of quality procedures
  • Training of junior laboratory or chemical technicians
  • Calibration of equipment
  • Conduct and contribute to risk assessment, Quality Procedures and Decision making on quality & maintenance
  • Procurement of materials and budget controls
  • Implementing QA & Safety Activities
Requirement:
