A Japanese chemical manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Laboratory Assistant to conduct laboratory tests, manage chemical inventory, and ensure quality assurance. Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests, sample analysis, and quality inspections for raw materials, processes, and finished products.
• Perform advanced maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment.
• Manage chemical and consumable inventory, including preparation, standardization of chemical reagents, and waste management.
• Maintain quality records and support the development of quality procedures.
• Train and guide junior laboratory or chemical technicians.
• Carry out calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in and contribute to risk assessments, quality procedures, and decision-making on quality and maintenance matters.
• Support procurement of laboratory materials and monitor budget controls.
• Implement and uphold Quality Assurance (QA) and safety activities in daily operations.
