Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to ensure accuracy and quality of results.
- Prepare and test samples, ensuring proper handling, labelling, and documentation throughout the testing process.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are in good working condition and adhere to quality standards.
- Record and interpret data, compiling test results into clear and concise reports for internal and external use.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, laboratory regulations, and industry standards to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods and procedures to enhance laboratory capabilities and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other laboratory personnel and departments to support project requirements and achieve shared objectives.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the laboratory.
