Job summary
OKX in Singapore is hiring a senior Kubernetes engineer to own the lifecycle of large-scale clusters and drive multi-cloud operations on Alibaba Cloud and AWS. You will shape cloud-native architectures, implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and robust monitoring, enabling secure, reliable deployments.
You will work with Linux, containers, Istio/Envoy, and automation tools to optimize performance, security, and scalability across global teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer-related field and 4+ years operating production-level Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficient in Alibaba Cloud and AWS dual-cloud operations with experience in production environments.
- Strong Linux system administration, networking, and container runtimes (containerd/Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
Responsibilities
- Manage lifecycle of large-scale Kubernetes clusters ensuring 24/7 availability.
- Operate and optimize Alibaba Cloud and AWS resources across dual-cloud environments.
- Lead containerization, microservices rollout, and Pod scheduling optimization.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing systems; define runbooks and incident response plans.
- Develop automation scripts (Shell/Python) and integrate release automation.
- Drive post-mortems and root-cause analysis for incident improvements.
- Share knowledge and strengthen multi-cloud K8s ops capabilities.
