NEPTUNEZ SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly experienced software engineer to develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will design microservices and REST APIs, implement event-driven services with Kafka, and build cloud-native solutions using AWS.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus database skills with PostgreSQL and Hibernate/JPA. Banking/enterprise domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

14+ years of enterprise software development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
Hands-on with Java and Spring Boot, Hibernate, Gradle.
Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
Extensive AWS cloud experience (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, RDS/Aurora).
Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
Terraform, SonarQube experience.
SQL/PostgreSQL and Hibernate/JPA experience.
Docker and Kubernetes/EKS experience.
Spring Security, IAM, and cloud security practices.
GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle.
JUnit and Mockito for automated testing.
Experience in banking/financial services or enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and develop microservices and REST APIs for enterprise applications.
Build and integrate event-driven services using Kafka and messaging platforms.
Develop cloud-based applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, and RDS/Aurora.
Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, and DynamoDB.
Implement application security using Spring Security, IAM, KMS, and authentication mechanisms.
Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Implement automated build, testing, and deployment using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito and troubleshoot application issues.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
