You will implement Spring and Spring Boot, develop RESTful services, write unit tests with JUnit, and collaborate across teams on cloud deployments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle/Maven, and Git.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java EE technologies such as Weblogic, Websphere, and OSGi.
• Proficient in Spring framework and RESTful service design.
• Knowledge of cloud and CI/CD practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications using modern frameworks and tools, driving high-quality software delivery with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using the latest Java versions to ensure modern, efficient codebases
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles to design scalable and maintainable software solutions
• Implement and configure Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to build enterprise-grade applications
• Write and execute unit tests using JUnit to validate code quality and functionality
• Automate build and deployment processes using Gradle or Maven integrated with Bamboo for continuous integration
• Utilize IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ to write, debug, and optimize Java code effectively
• Manage source code versions and collaboration using Git in a team environment
• Design and consume HTTP/RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between services
• Apply security fundamentals to protect applications from vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Develop front-end components using React to enhance user interfaces
• Manage and query databases such as Postgres and DynamoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Route 53, S3, and ELB for scalable cloud infrastructure
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling
• Implement test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage
• Work with Java Enterprise Edition technologies such as Weblogic, Websphere, and OSGi for enterprise solutions
• Utilize Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for content management and digital experience delivery
