Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls
• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security audits to identify and address potential threats
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the IT infrastructure
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on security-related matters
• Continuously monitor security threats and stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends
• Escalate and coordinate the response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimisation of impact

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT security infrastructure engineering, preferably in a complex, enterprise-level environment
• Extensive knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, access control, and encryption
• Strong understanding of network architecture, server administration, and cloud computing principles
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in relevant security domains, such as CISSP, GCIH, or GIAC, is highly desirable
