We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager who combines a strategic big-picture mindset with meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven project management experience and be fully capable of independently managing projects from initiation to successful delivery. This role requires a proactive, self-driven professional who can navigate complex IT projects, align with business goals, and ensure timely and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against them.
- Maintain a strong big-picture perspective while managing detailed aspects of project execution.
- Identify risks and issues early and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical staff, vendors, and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources independently, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
- Report project status, deliverables, and metrics to senior management and stakeholders clearly and regularly.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational skills with a balance between strategic vision and detail orientation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
