Job summary

WhiteCrow Research, a global talent research, insight, and sourcing specialist, seeks a Senior IT Engineer to support Enterprise Datahub using Databricks, ensuring seamless BI/ERP integration.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and analysts to translate requirements into scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT flows, applying Generative AI to improve data quality and automation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Informatics, IT, Data Engineering/Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in data engineering, application support, BI analytics, or related roles.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, GitHub, dbt, ETL/ELT, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and documentation.
• Ability to analyze moderately complex problems independently and drive resolutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear written/spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and enhancement of an Enterprise Datahub using Databricks.
• Support complex BI and data platform initiatives while meeting quality and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers and analysts to translate requirements into solutions.
• Design and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT flows, semantic layers, and report solutions.
• Apply AI-driven optimization to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop new ideas and automation to improve the platform and user experience.
• Communicate moderately complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for...

• Supporting the implementation and enhancement of Enterprise Datahub using Databricks, ensuring seamless integration with existing BI and ERP systems.
• Supporting complex BI and data platform initiatives while maintaining quality, delivery timelines, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and analysts to translate requirements into solutions.
• Designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing moderately complex data pipelines, ETL/ELT flows, semantic layers, and report solutions with the development team.
• Applying technical knowledge and AI-driven optimization opportunities to improve data quality, validation, reliability, and operational efficiency across supported solutions.
• Developing new and impactful ideas, approaches, and automation opportunities that improve the platform, processes, and user experience.
• Communicating moderately complex information clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, adapting the message to the audience.

What you already have...

• Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Data Engineering/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data engineering, application support, BI analytics, or related technical roles.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, GitHub, dbt, ETL, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based assistants) to enhance productivity, development, and documentation.
• Ability to analyze moderately complex problems independently and drive resolution with minimal supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management, teamwork, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience contributing to technical improvements, process optimization, and operational quality.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
