Job summary

ITCAN Pte Limited seeks an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable mobile applications for enterprise use. The role emphasizes secure coding, data protection (Keychain), secure networking, and authentication using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and JWT, collaborating with backend, security, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.

Stay current with iOS technologies and security best practices, mentoring junior engineers and contributing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on iOS development using Swift and iOS SDK.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture, patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience designing secure, scalable mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Keychain and local storage protection.
• Experience with secure mobile networking (HTTPS, TLS, certificate validation).
• Understanding OWASP Mobile Security principles and vulnerabilities.
• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and JWT.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling sensitive data.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficient with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, high-performance iOS applications.
• Architect scalable mobile client solutions for enterprise use.
• Apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Implement data protection (Keychain, local storage) and secure networking.
• Develop secure mobile networking with HTTPS/TLS and proper validation.
• Implement authentication/authorization using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT.
• Follow OWASP MAS principles to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Conduct code reviews, security assessments, and performance optimization.
• Identify and resolve defects, memory leaks, and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with backend, security, QA, product teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services securely.
• Ensure quality via unit/integration testing and automation.
• Stay updated on iOS tech and security threats; mentor juniors.
