Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Singapore seeks an Investment Counselor to stay ahead of market developments and act as the authority on investment products for clients. The role centers on presenting CIO views, advising wealth clients, and delivering tailored investment proposals.

You will work closely with Client Advisors and Market Managers to grow client relationships, manage risk, and meet revenue goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in investment product sales.
• Broad understanding of financial services, product solutions and financial planning concepts.
• Client-centric skills including interpersonal, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage investment relationships and deliver CIO views to wealth clients.
• Act as primary client contact and trusted investment advisor, including advisory and after-sales execution.
• Collaborate with Market Managers and Relationship Managers serving clients in Onshore Singapore.
• Grow share of wallet and deliver tailored investment solutions for high net worth clients.
• Lead opportunities, create customized proposals and co-present in client meetings.
• Combine traditional and alternative investments with wealth solutions to enhance service.
• Coordinate with specialists to provide expertise and support client events.
• Maintain high levels of communication and customer service to sales professionals and clients.
• Accountable for product revenue and penetration goals, while ensuring risk and compliance.
