Job summary

SLI Studio is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our design-driven team in Singapore. Lead concepts from vision to completion for refined, high-end residential interiors and work closely with the Creative Director to deliver thoughtful spaces.

You should have a degree in Interior Design or Architecture and at least 5 years of experience in high-end residential design, ideally across Singapore or international markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in high-end residential interior design, within Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada or the USA.
• Strong design flair and keen eye for detail, proportion and materiality.
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a collaborative studio.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director on design directions.
• Lead and develop interior design concepts from vision through completion.
• Oversee multiple high-end residential projects across all design phases.
• Create design narratives via mood boards, materials, and layouts.
• Liaise with clients to understand vision, preferences and requirements.
• Manage the design process including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
• Propose refined design solutions meeting SLI Studio standards.
• Prepare design documentation and ensure milestones are met.

• Collaborate & coordinate closely with consultants, suppliers, and contractors
• Propose creative, well-resolved design solutions that align with SLI Studio’s aesthetic and quality standards
• Prepare design documentation and ensure timely delivery of project milestones

What You’ll Bring

• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; Mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders is an advantage
• High level of accountability, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Proficiency inAutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
