Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Specialist to join our telecommunications engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands‑on expertise in 4G/5G RAN integration, configuration, feature deployment, troubleshooting, and network upgrades, with significant experience across Ericsson technologies. This role involves working closely with network teams to deliver high‑quality integrations, support advanced trials, optimise network performance, and ensure seamless deployment of next‑generation mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end integration, commissioning, and configuration of LTE and 5G nodes (eNodeB, gNodeB, RBS, RNC).

• Conduct 5G feature testing, configuration verification and advanced troubleshooting for live networks.

• Execute new carrier deployment, bandwidth expansion, and frequency re‑farming activities for LTE/5G.

• Support enterprise 5G deployments, small cells, Pico RBS, and mixed‑mode configurations (5G + LTE).

• Perform hardware acceptance testing of new Ericsson basebands, processors, routers and radio products.

• Lead TWAMP implementation for IP network quality auditing and performance assurance.

• Support network upgrades (WCDMA/LTE/5G), feature audits, and cross‑technology integration (FDD/TDD).

• Conduct LAA (Band 46), Dual Band Radio DOTS, and other next‑gen feature trials.

• Analyse network KPIs, traffic counters, protocol flows, and trace logs to identify faults and performance issues.

• Troubleshoot alarms, hardware failures, and software issues across RNC, NodeB, eNodeB, and 5G radio nodes.

• Provide technical leadership, guide integration teams, prepare scripts, MOPs, and update procedures.

• Interface with cross‑functional teams for transport upgrades, IP/ATM reconfiguration, and backhaul optimisation.

• Support multi‑vendor and multi‑technology RAN environments (2G / 3G / LTE / 5G).

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in mobile network integration (4G/5G).

• Strong expertise with Ericsson RAN equipment, including:

  • Baseband 5216 / 6502 / 6630 / 6648 / 6651
  • Radio AIR series (e.g., AIR3268)
  • Ericsson routers/switches (e.g., Router 6672)

• Deep knowledge of LTE, WCDMA, and 5G architecture, signalling, protocols and transport layers.

• Strong command of Ericsson OSS tools: Moshell, Element Manager, Network Explorer, RAN Explorer.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills across RBS, RNC, RXI, eNodeB, and 5G nodes.

• Solid experience in script generation, RNC/RBS audits, network optimisation and KPI analysis.

• Familiar with ATM/IP transport, TWAMP, IMA configurations, QoS implementations, and transmission audits.

• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate field engineers across multiple sites.

• Strong documentation skills including MOP creation, testing reports and integration logs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
