Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer to oversee instrumentation systems within a power plant environment in Singapore. You will troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to restore plant functionality.

You will lead shutdowns, coordinate with cross-functional teams, perform risk assessments, and ensure accurate CMMS data while supporting planning and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience
• Proficient in power plant codes and standards (BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE)
• Hands-on experience with field instrumentation, sensors, DCS and HMI systems
• Strong teamwork, communication and safety-conscious approach

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot instrument breakdowns and determine root causes to restore functionality
• Respond to technical queries from operations and advise on best practices
• Lead shutdowns for instrumentation and ensure timely completion
• Coordinate cross-functional maintenance with various sections
• Perform risk assessments before work and monitor residual risks
• Populate CMMS with maintenance history and assist planning
