Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Principal Instrumentation Controls Engineer with a degree in Electronics, Control Systems, or Instrumentation Engineering. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in I&C Engineering within Hydrocarbon or Offshore Oil & Gas Processing Facilities. Responsibilities include preparing specifications, conducting technical evaluations, and participating in project reviews. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential. Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years' experience in I&C Engineering/Design of Hydrocarbon or Offshore Oil & Gas Processing Facilities.
• Working knowledge of Hexagon SPI as admin or super user is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of project requirements and meeting expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare field instrument specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents.
• Perform technical evaluation of field instruments like control valves, shutdown valves, etc.
• Prepare control narratives, cause & effect, and system block diagrams.
