Job summary

Shell Infotech Pte. Ltd. seeks a senior IT Infrastructure Architect to lead architectural strategy, design, and operations across on-premise and cloud environments.

The role demands deep expertise in hybrid cloud, IaC, AIOps, and cybersecurity to drive transformative programs at scale. The ideal candidate will define long-term roadmaps, manage vendor relations, optimize costs, and ensure security integration across data centers and cloud providers, including preparation for regulatory challenges

Qualifications

• Must have experience in IT infrastructure architecture, engineering, and operations.
• Must have experience in a senior technical leadership role managing large-scale transformation programs.
• Extensive expertise in on-premise and cloud infrastructure design, engineering, and operations.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native services, multi-cloud management, and hybrid cloud estates.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), AIOps, and DevOps-driven infrastructure management.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge, ensuring infrastructure resilience, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to drive technical transformation, innovation, and automation in a large-scale environment.
• Experience in vendor management, cost optimization, and strategic technology modernization.
• Ability to define long‑term roadmaps and align technical strategies with business goals.
• Cloud & Hybrid Architecture: Proficiency in designing resilient, scalable architectures across data centers and public cloud providers.
• Automation Frameworks: Hands‑on experience with IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines, and policy‑driven automation.
• Observability & AIOps: Knowledge of monitoring tools and AI/ML applications for proactive incident management.
• Security Integration: Ability to embed security (Zero Trust, encryption) into the architecture design phase.
• Certifications: Certifications in infrastructure domains, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructure security, or automation are beneficial.
• Industry Context: Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly preferred due to regulatory and compliance complexities.
• Regional Experience: Experience managing infrastructure across multiple regions (APAC) and collaborating with global standards.
