Job summary

CHAPTR CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to design and modernise its IT infrastructure, spanning global data centers and cloud environments.

You will drive automation, implement security hardening, and deliver scalable solutions to support business growth. The role requires deep hands-on expertise with Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, Nutanix, VMware, Docker and Kubernetes, plus strong scripting skills in Bash, Python and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization and HCI environments, with automation.
• Proficient in Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix, Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, NetApp, Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across global data centers and cloud.
• Provide Windows Server escalation and Linux Server Level 1 support.
• Implement Windows Server security, hardening and compliance standards.
• Drive automation to improve performance and reduce manual processes.
• Develop tools and scripts for deployment, monitoring and system management.
• Work with global stakeholders on infrastructure requirements and implementations.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities across global teams.
• Ensure infrastructure security, availability, reliability and performance.
• Modernize data center operations through technology and process improvements.
• Manage and optimize servers, storage, virtualization and HCI environments.
• Ensure high availability through backups, monitoring, capacity planning and maintenance.
