JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Industrial Engineering Department

Reports to: Industrial Engineering

Functional relationships:

• MLCC factory performance monitoring in Japan factories
• Internal MES factory teams

POSITION PROFILE

This position is designed for a trainee who will learn and be trained in cost accounting, profit and loss analysis, and related processes for MLCC manufacturing operations. Under the guidance of senior staff, the trainee will work closely with Japan HQ and overseas affiliates to assist in producing accurate financial analysis, support timely reporting, and participate in initiatives to improve cost efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Policy, strategy alignment and coordination of PJT by collaborating with Japan HQ or other group company in Japan.
• To analysis and visualize the MLCC manufacturing operation performance through monthly profit and loss reports and statement.
• To report to HQ the performance in Japanese monthly.
• To prepare monthly profit and loss statement including variance analysis and its reporting to internal members and HQ.
• Learn and develop understanding of product cost structures and calculate standard cost
• Participate in periodic meetings with Japan HQ or group companies to identify potential cost-reduction opportunities.
• Acquire knowledge of new manufacturing technologies and assist in preparing improvement proposals related to quality, cost and efficiency.

Ability/ Competency required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Must have basic knowledge and at least 2-3 years of experiences in MLCC manufacturing process.
• Business – level proficiency in both Japanese and English to communicate effectively with Japan factories, HQ departments, and local MES factory staff.
• Have logical thinking, analytical skill and good engineering sense.
• Positive mindset toward change and continuous improvement.
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with each MLCC functions teams.
