Job summary

MSD in Singapore's Biopolis campus seeks a Senior Specialist, Data Science (AI/ML Imaging & Omics) to lead the development of imaging analytics that couple MRI/CT/PET/OCT with omics and clinical data. You will build scalable pipelines and validate biomarkers across large cohorts to inform biomarker discovery and translational medicine.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior scientists, and present complex AI results to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with AI/ML imaging focus; or Master/Bachelor with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in computer vision, ML and deep learning for medical imaging.
• Hands-on Python with ITK/SITK/OpenCV/scikit-learn/PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with large-scale imaging datasets, biobanks or clinical cohorts.
• Interest in integrating imaging with omics and clinical data; knowledge of scalable ML environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML and image analysis techniques for multimodal medical images (MRI/CT/PET/OCT).
• Design and validate AI imaging analytics pipelines with segmentation and feature extraction.
• Integrate imaging phenotypes with molecular omics and clinical data for biomarker discovery.
• Interpret AI findings to support target identification and drug discovery decisions.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners and present results to stakeholders.
