Essential Job Functions:

The Senior ICT Engineer plays a critical role in leading the company’s digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives. This position focuses on AI integration, cyber detection and response transition, ISO 27001:2022 compliance, and ICT infrastructure setup across multiple project sites. The role requires both technical expertise and strong project coordination skills to ensure that systems remain secure, efficient, and compliant with corporate and international standards.

AI Integration & Digital Transformation

  • Lead the company’s AI Integration Roadmap, including vendor evaluation, proof-of-concept (POC) testing, and implementation planning.
  • Identify suitable AI solutions to enhance document automation, data analytics, predictive reporting, and project management workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure AI deployment aligns with business needs, data governance, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain AI governance guidelines to ensure responsible use in compliance with ISO 27001 and PDPA standards.
  • Coordinate AI training sessions and promote awareness of emerging technologies across project teams.

Cybersecurity & Incident Response

  • Support the Cyber Detection and Response (CDR) service renewal and vendor transition, ensuring continuous monitoring and threat response coverage.
  • Conduct internal security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring quick containment and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate cybersecurity documentation, including risk registers, vendor compliance reports, and incident records.

ISO 27001:2022 Compliance & Certification Support

  • Maintain ICT governance documentation and ensure continuous alignment with ISO 27001 standards and audit requirements.
  • Review and update operational SOPs, risk assessments, and control evidence for surveillance audits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to close non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

ICT Infrastructure & Site Setup

  • Plan and manage ICT infrastructure setup for new project offices including network design, hardware deployment, and user access configuration.
  • Ensure cybersecurity measures and compliance controls are integrated from project initiation.
  • Liaise with vendors for procurement, system installation, and service maintenance.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure continuous uptime.

Governance, Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date ICT policies, procedures, and asset inventories.
  • Track project milestones, risk treatments, and system improvement plans.
  • Prepare management reports summarizing ICT performance, cybersecurity posture, and audit compliance status.
  • Contribute to internal training and awareness initiatives to strengthen ICT governance culture.

Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCNA, ITIL) are an advantage.
  • 5 to 8 years of ICT experience, preferably in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems administration.
  • Proven experience in multi-site ICT operations, vendor management, and compliance audit support.
  • Experience in AI-related implementation or ISO 27001 audit readiness preferred.
