Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee performance management and strategic HR initiatives. This role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to lead various HR functions, including learning and development, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in HR and possesses at least 7 years of experience in HR, preferably within the manufacturing or chemical sectors. A proactive mindset and strong communication skills are essential.

Performance Management
  • Oversee and spearhead the performance review processes and discussions with stakeholders
  • Support goal-setting initiatives and engagement process
  • Provide coaching to managers on feedback, development, and performance improvement.
  • Engage and partner stakeholders to drive continuous development and managing performance.
Learning & Development
  • Spearhead learning and development programs
  • Drive “continuous learning” initiatives among employees
  • Support and partner stakeholders in the efforts of building and enhancing competencies
Strategic HR Initiatives
  • Propose and drive HR strategies that advance employee initiatives and organizational goals as needed
  • Ability to use analytical skills for data-informed decisions and recommend improvements will be an added advantage
HR Policy & Compliance
  • Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on HR policies and processes related matters
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws

Compensation and Benefit
  • Spearhead in the annual salary review and bonus preparation for processing and communication.
  • Ability to lead in discussions and provide sound advice on compensation and benchmarking details to stakeholders to support recommendation proposals.
  • Responsible for verifying and resolving issues related to both outpatient and inpatient medical matters, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of any concerns that arise.
  • Serve as the payroll checker during payroll processing periods, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll data before finalization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 7 years’ experience in HR roles, preferably in the manufacturing or chemical industry.
