Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an HR professional to oversee recruitment processes and manage HR operations. Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, onboarding new hires, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Singapore's Employment Act and be proficient in Excel. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and requires someone meticulous with strong prioritization skills.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Entitlement of AWS & VB
  • Monday - Friday; 9 am - 6 pm
  • Office Location: Ubi, Central Region
  • Retail Industry
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, including reviewing job description, job posting, candidates screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selection process, and manpower planning
  • Develop recruitment strategies and explore new sourcing channels in building talent pool
  • Participate in Career Fair and store visits
  • Administer work pass application, renewal, and cancellation
  • Manage new hire onboarding process, including preparation of employment contract, IT equipment requisition, orientation & induction, registering of clock-in account
  • Build rapport with schools to manage internship and traineeship
HR Operations
  • Manage the Time Attendance system and maintain up-to-date attendance record
  • Training registration and statutory surveys
  • Create, maintain and update accurate employee data in Prosoft and government portals
  • Prepare weekly Manpower reports, Budget reports, and any other ad-hoc reports
Administration tasks
  • Upkeep and maintenance of employees’ p-files
  • Preparation of company letters – confirmation letters, promotion letters etc
  • Track probation appraisal and follow-up on confirmation
  • Organize staff activities and company events such as Company D&D, Teambuilding
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of the Employment Act and Labour laws of Singapore
  • Comfortable to handle high volume of transactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Vlookup and Pivot table
  • Meticulous, good with prioritizing work and managing datelines
