Job Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for site and head-office employees, including timecard validation, overtime, shift allowances, and project-based pay components.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly salary disbursements.
- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, WPS, PT, Gratuity, Labour Welfare Fund, etc.).
- Handle payroll reconciliations, audits, and preparation of monthly payroll reports.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure accurate attendance, manpower logs, and labour deployment reports.
- Manage full & final settlements for separated employees.
Employee Relations & Site Coordination
- Address employee payroll-related queries and grievances promptly.
- Liaise with site HR, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Monitor site labour movement, absenteeism, and turnover trends; prepare reports for management.
Job Requirements
- Possess Minimum Diploma in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- Strong payroll experience with at least 5-6 years of relevant experience preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Experience in handling 400 payroll volumes, with emphasis on blue collar workers.
- Strong knowledge of statutory and labour laws.
- Experience handling large site workforces, contractors, and time-attendance systems.
- Proficiency in Payroll software and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
