Job summary

A reputable company in Singapore is seeking a Payroll professional to manage monthly payroll, oversee employee benefits, and ensure compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a regional compensation and benefits environment, expertise in payroll cycles, and familiarity with systems like SAP and Prosoft. Candidates should be meticulous and able to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in regional C&B environment.
  • Experience in full payroll cycle is required.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Process and administer monthly payroll including new hires and resignations.
  • Research and propose for Annual Increment exercise.
  • Administer employee medical and Company insurance matters.

Job Descriptions:

Payroll:
  • Process and administer monthly payroll (include new hire and resignee) and timely submission of CPF.
  • Yearly preparation & submission of IR8A.
  • Process IR21 income tax submission, when necessary.
  • Process Government claim submissions including Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity leave, ICT claims, etc.
  • Update of shift roster calendar.
Compensation:
  • Research, analyse and propose for Annual Increment exercise.
  • Administer and process Variable Bonus payout.
  • Track and administer Company's promotion exercise.
  • Review of C&B policies and procedures on regular basis.
Benefits:
  • Administer and process employees' medical & Company's insurance matters.
  • Employee data entry, maintain and update to ensure records are up to date in SAP and Prosoft systems.
Administrative:
  • Prepare and submit for statutory surveys and other ad-hoc surveys required.
  • Lead the Mid-Year and Year-End Performance Appraisal exercise.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in regional C&B environment.
  • Experience in full payroll cycle. Applicant with knowledge in SAP and Prosoft will be an added advantage.
  • Meticulous and figures oriented.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws.
  • Good team player.
