Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner based in Singapore. In this strategic role, you will support the manufacturing division, collaborate with business leaders to implement HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws in Singapore and Malaysia. The ideal candidate has over 6 years of HR experience, including managing the full employee lifecycle, and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. Strong interpersonal skills and strategic HR advice capabilities are essential.

  • 6+ years of experience as HRBP or Senior/HR Generalist, ideally in manufacturing/aerospace.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and strategic HR advice.

About the role

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the HR team at the client, supporting the respective divisions across both Singapore and Malaysia. In this strategic position, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, processes and best practices.

What you’ll be doing
  • Provide expert HR business partnering support to the manufacturing division, acting as a strategic advisor to leadership
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address people-related challenges, developing and implementing tailored HR solutions
  • Drive the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives that support the overall business strategy and objectives
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing work culture
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Collect and analyze HR data to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision making
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as an HRBP or Senior/HR Generalist, ideally in the manufacturing/aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to provide strategic HR advice to business leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels
  • Experience in managing the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Proficient in HR data analysis and reporting to drive evidence-based decision making
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
