Job description

The Senior HR Business Partner (Employee Relations and Talent) will play a critical role in advancing Tanglin’s people strategy, with a primary focus on business partnering, employee relations, and recruitment. This position requires both strategic acumen and operational rigour to ensure that Tanglin continues to attract, retain, and develop high‑calibre staff.

Reporting to the Director of People (DoP), the appointee will serve as a trusted advisor to staff, managers, and Directors, fostering strong partnerships that balance employee advocacy with the delivery of organisational priorities.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (postgraduate/HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM preferred).
  • Extensive experience in HR business partnering with strong expertise in employee relations and recruitment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence managers and senior leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mediation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated capability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, fair, and high‑performing workplace culture.
