Job summary

A leading logistics and supply chain firm in Singapore seeks an experienced financial professional to handle financial forecasting and budgeting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, at least three years of experience, and is bilingual in English and Mandarin. This role offers a proactive work environment with strong teamwork emphasis and various auditing responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in external audit.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin for liaising with China offices.
  • Experience in a listed company and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle financial forecast and improve financial forecasting models.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting processes and ensure alignment with goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reconciliation and management reports.

Job description
Key responsibilities
  • Handle financial forecast and develop, maintain, and improve financial forecasting models across business units
  • Coordinate and lead annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines
  • Undertake ad-Hoc financial analysis & support
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly group consolidation and management reporting packages
  • Support manager on new IFRS implementation projects and related technical accounting matters
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end group audit schedules and consolidation deliverables
  • Handle year-end audits for selected entities within Group Accounting Department and ensure compliance with Group policies
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, legal, and tax advisors where required
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience; prior external audit experience preferred
  • Experience in a listed company, with exposure to regulatory compliance and legal matters, is preferred
  • Some legal or corporate secretarial exposure is an advantage (e.g., review of contracts, board papers, and corporate filings)
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken & written) as this position will need to liaise with China offices
  • Good application of Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments
  • Meticulous, independent, proactive, with a positive work attitude and strong sense of teamwork
