Senior Graphic Designer (Advertising & Performance Creatives)
Full-Time | Singapore | In-House Advertising Team
We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Graphic Designer to join our in-house advertising team. This role sits at the core of our paid media operation and is focused on ideating, visualising, and executing high-impact ad creatives, primarily for Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
You will work closely with marketers and motion designers to translate provided hooks into compelling visuals, frame messages effectively, rapidly produce variations, and help the team identify new winning ads through structured testing.
This is not a purely executional role. We are building a team that thinks together, experiments together, and iterates fast.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Ideation and Concepting
- Collaborate with the advertising team to visualise provided hooks, angles, and creative directions for performance campaigns.
- Frame and structure campaign messages visually, including hierarchy, emphasis, pacing, and supporting micro-copy, to maximise clarity and performance in feed-based advertising environments.
- Translate abstract ideas such as price sensitivity, curiosity, feature highlights, and urgency into clear visual concepts.
- Develop mood boards, visual references, and rough layouts to explore multiple creative directions quickly.
Ad Creative Execution
- Design static and digital ad creatives for paid media campaigns, with a strong focus on Meta placements.
- Create multiple creative variations including backgrounds, layouts, visual hierarchy, and emphasis to support structured A/B testing.
- Ensure creatives are optimised for attention, fast comprehension, and scroll-stopping performance.
Collaboration and Workflow
- Work closely with motion designers by preparing clean, well-structured design files suitable for animation workflows.
- Support motion and video creatives through storyboards, first-frame designs, thumbnails, and visual overlays.
- Collaborate with marketers to ensure visuals align with campaign objectives, messaging, and testing frameworks.
Brand and Platform Adaptation
- Maintain brand consistency while adapting creatives across formats and platforms such as Meta, Google, web, EDMs, and OOH.
- Resize and adapt assets efficiently for different aspect ratios and placements.
- Deliver work on schedule in a fast-paced, iterative advertising environment.
Additional Design Support
- Support occasional non-paid design needs such as internal presentations, campaign decks, and on-brand marketing materials.
- Assist with design requests that support advertising campaigns or broader marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all non-paid design work aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in graphic design within an agency, marketing, or in-house environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with basic working knowledge of After Effects.
- A portfolio demonstrating advertising or campaign-based design work.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
- Comfortable working in a test-and-iterate environment with fast feedback cycles.
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset and openness to critique.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on performance or digital advertising campaigns.
- Familiarity with Meta ad formats and feed-based creative considerations.
- Basic understanding of motion design workflows and animation handoff best practices.
- Exposure to automotive, consumer retail, or high-volume campaign environments is an advantage.
