Job summary

Thoughtworks Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and deliver scalable software with a focus on engineering excellence. You will collaborate across roles and mentor junior consultants, while promoting best practices and high-quality code.

You will work on large distributed systems, using TypeScript/Node.js, Vue/Nuxt, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and GitLab CI, within Agile teams and a security-conscious environment. Singapore Citizen or PR is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js / NuxtJS).
• Experience deploying to AWS and automating infrastructure with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GitLab CI.
• Strong OO programming and well-tested code.
• Familiarity with Agile practices (XP, Scrum, Kanban).
• Bonus cloud knowledge AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/Docker.

• Learn and adopt best practices like clean, reusable code, TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
• Advocate for continuous delivery to deliver high-quality software and early customer value.
