Job summary

ENCORA TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a versatile Asa Software Engineer (Full Stack) for a 9-month contract to deliver end-to-end software solutions for the financial domain.

You will join an agile team building microservices on .NET Core/.NET8 with Java, and craft RESTful APIs and responsive frontends using ASP.NET WebForms and modern web technologies. The role involves containerization with Docker, OAuth security, AWS services, and applying DDD, SDD, and Open Telemetry for observability, while

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience with .NET Core stack.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core, .NET 8, C#, Java.
• Experience building microservices and event-driven design patterns.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework (EF).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience implementing OAuth for authentication & authorization.
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
• Hands-on with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS).
• Frontend tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET and WebForms.
• Experience writing unit tests and maintaining a design system with Storybook.
• Legacy .NET Framework 4.x maintenance and migration.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Deploying on IIS/Windows Server with Web.config transformations.
• Hands-on with Java Quarkus and OpenTelemetry for observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using .NET Core, .NET8, and Java.
• Implement event-driven communication between microservices.
• Use EF for database interactions.
• Containerize apps with Docker for scalability.
• Apply DDD principles for clean architecture.
• Implement OAuth for authentication/authorization.
• Develop RESTful APIs for frontend-backend communication.
• Migrate legacy .NET Framework apps to modern .NET where applicable.
• Manage hosting on IIS/Windows Server with config transformations.
• Develop frontend with ASP.NET WebForms and responsive UI.
