Job summary

ST Engineering IHQ Pte. Ltd. invites a Senior Software Engineer in Data Analytics to lead full‑stack development of data‑driven analytics platforms within the GEC division.

You will design, develop, and optimise software products transforming analytics workflows into actionable intelligence for diverse business units. As a senior engineer, you will mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Spring MVC and Spring Boot microservices.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in developing web applications using Angular or React.
• Proficiency in Java, Angular/React and Docker technologies.
• Strong foundation in OOP, MVC, REST API Security and containerization.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in using AI tools for coding and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Involve in full-stack software product development lifecycle.
• Develop high-quality reusable software modules.
• Customize software product to specific business needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owner, pre-sales, data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold best practices in software development, ensuring maintainability and performance optimisation.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and deliver solutions that align with organisational goals.
• Assess commercial and open-source products and integration into software products.
• Release planning of software product.
• Developing prototype screens and converting into working software products.
