Job summary

Komax Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a senior software engineer to own modules end-to-end and develop front-end apps with Angular and Vue for server-side clients and machine-mounted HMIs. You will design back-end services in C++17/20 and C#/NET, and maintain embedded C++ software for ARM64 Linux with I/O and fieldbus communication.

Additionally, you will design a shared back end over REST, WebSocket, and gRPC with versioned interfaces and robust error handling, and implement multi-threaded

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• ≥5 years of full-stack software development experience with customer releases across multiple lifecycles.
• Ability to own a module end to end and justify design trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more software modules end to end: requirements specification, architecture, implementation, testing, reviews, release, and field defect analysis.
• Develop front-end applications with Angular and Vue for server-side and machine-mounted HMI/kiosk clients.
• Design and implement back-end services in C++17/20 and C#/NET, including database design, queries, transactions, and middleware integration.
• Develop cross-compiled embedded C++ software for ARM64 Linux targets with device I/O and communications.
• Build a shared back end serving multiple clients over REST, WebSocket, and gRPC with versioned interfaces and robust error handling.
• Implement multi-threaded and asynchronous software for time-critical machine operations with safe concurrency.
