Job summary

Workato Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to design, build and optimize complex UI for our enterprise integration platform using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

You will collaborate with product, design and back-end teams to deliver scalable features, take ownership of projects, and drive performance, accessibility and security enhancements across large-scale web applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in front-end focused Software Development.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic background.
• Experience with Angular and modern JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Experience in building responsive web interfaces and performance optimizations.
• Knowledge of web security, SEO and accessibility.
• Familiar with QA automation tools (Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium).
• Experience with TypeScript, or a desire to learn about it.

Responsibilities

• Build efficient and reusable front-end components.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Experience Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our product.
• Identify and resolve performance issues.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Front End Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building and optimizing complex UI for modern integration platform using advanced JavaScript, HTML and CSS technologies. You will work with product, design and back-end teams to build innovative features. In this role, you will also be responsible to:

• Build efficient and reusable front-end components
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Experience Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our product

• Solve non-trivial coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in front-end focused Software Development
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic background
• Experience with Angular
• Advanced level knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience in building responsive web interfaces using the latest HTML and CSS technologies
• Good understanding of how browsers and DOM work
• Familiar with web security, SEO and accessibility
• Familiar with browser performance optimizations
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience delivering large-scale web applications
• Knowledge of QA automation processes and tools (Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium & etc)
• Experience with TypeScript, or a desire to learn about it
• Fluency with the Unix command line interface
• Contributions to open source projects
