Job summary

EPAM Systems in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (FE) to build modern web banking apps with React and JavaScript/Typescript. You will own key Front-end modules end-to-end, shape reusable components, improve performance and accessibility, and mentor other engineers in an Agile team working with APIs and CI/CD.

You will work with APIs and CI/CD, implement robust UI, and contribute to planning and estimates in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ReactJS development for front-end features.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency.
• Experience with Redux or equivalent state management.
• Responsive UI development using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with front-end apps.
• Knowledge of front-end testing (unit and component tests).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience delivering with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build front-end features using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Own delivery of user-facing modules from design to release.
• Create reusable components and shared libraries.
• Integrate UI with REST APIs and back-end microservices.
• Improve performance, security, and accessibility; ensure responsive behavior.
• Write unit and component tests; support end-to-end automation.
• Review code, uphold standards, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to planning, refinement, and estimates.
