The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) serves as a senior technical bridge between customer needs, business outcomes, and technology solutions. Working directly within customer environments, this role partners with business and technical stakeholders to understand complex challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and design, develop, deploy, and optimize solutions that deliver measurable value.

The Senior FDE possesses deep expertise in company and partner platforms, products, accelerators, and reusable assets and applies this expertise to solve complex customer-specific business and technical problems. Combining engineering, solution architecture, consulting, and customer engagement capabilities, the Senior FDE delivers and guides complex solution initiatives across the end-to-end lifecycle, from discovery and design through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Operating independently within their area of expertise, the Senior FDE exercises sound judgment in addressing complex customer challenges, contributes to delivery excellence and reusable best practices, and supports customer success through innovative, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes, translating requirements into technology-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business value.

• Design, implement, configure, customize, and integrate company and partner platforms, products, accelerators, and reusable assets to address complex customer business and technical needs.

• Drive complex solution initiatives across the lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, deployment, adoption, optimization, and value realization.

• Build trusted relationships with business, technical, and senior stakeholders, providing technical guidance and influencing solution decisions throughout customer engagements.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, delivery, and operational teams to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing improvement of solutions.

• Analyze and resolve complex business, technical, and operational challenges using sound judgment, creativity, and structured problem-solving approaches.

• Identify opportunities for innovation, solution enhancement, and operational improvement through a combination of customer insights, domain knowledge, and platform capabilities.

• Capture customer feedback, implementation learnings, and reusable patterns to improve products, platforms, accelerators, methodologies, and delivery practices.

• Contribute to delivery excellence through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and the development of best practices, implementation patterns, and reusable assets.

• Apply industry and domain knowledge to ensure solutions align with customer workflows, regulatory requirements, operational realities, and strategic business outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, solution architecture, agile delivery, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or related disciplines are advantageous.

Required Experience:

• Deep experience in software engineering, solution architecture, consulting, customer engineering, technology delivery, or related technology disciplines.

• Advanced experience working directly with enterprise customers and stakeholders in customer-facing environments.

• Advanced experience delivering complex solution engagements, including discovery, design, implementation, deployment, adoption, and optimization activities.

• Advanced demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, integrating, extending, or customizing enterprise platforms, products, or technology solutions within customer environments.

• Demonstrated experience translating business and domain requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions that achieve measurable outcomes.

• Deep experience collaborating effectively across product, engineering, architecture, delivery, and business teams to achieve customer and organizational objectives.

• Demonstrated experience solving complex business and technical challenges independently, exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

• Advanced experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, reusable assets, methodologies, implementation standards, or best practices.

• Advanced experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, or knowledge sharing to colleagues and project team members.
